Administration Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the varied business support team within the Community Safety and Engagement Service. This role will support the day-to-day administration of the Community Safety and Engagement portfolio, which includes Domestic Abuse services, Anti Social Behaviour team, Neighbourhood management team, Welfare reform and Anti-poverty, Hate Crime and Equalities, and Voluntary Community and Faith engagement.
The successful applicant will support a range of these services with administrative tasks. They should have good organisational and administrative skills, able to multi-task with a high level of accuracy. Excellent communication skills and discretion are essential as you will be the first port of call for staff and members of the public. While the main base of this post will be at Southport Town Hall, the successful applicant may at times be required to work at other locations across the borough. Working from home for part of the week may be possible in line with service needs.
