WHAT MAKES US BURSON
The Burson Sport team works with the biggest brands, federations, and sponsors in the world of sport. Working with clients including adidas, Gillette and The IOC, the team uses its diverse expertise and experiences to create work that delivers fame and drives conversation.
Whether it’s supporting London’s grassroots footballers with Rent-A-Pred, breaking the internet with Messi and a goat, launching the lightest running shoe, or partnering with Ian Wright to launch a new curriculum to teach Black History with Gillette, the Sport team is known across the industry for creative work that stands out.
Responsibilities
* Being part of a driven and ambitious team

* Creating engaging assets and content for global and local storytelling
* Writing strategic plans and editorial messaging
* Using data and insights to drive effective storytelling
* Co-ordinating global and local events
* Creative and strategic thinker who is tapped into sport culture – its happenings and trends
* Proven track record in creating impactful campaigns for big brands
* Strong client handling and leadership skills; from design to delivery of campaigns/projects
* Proficient in preparing and managing budgets
* A team player with the ability to work collaboratively
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, particularly under pressure
* Global communications experience is a prerequisite for this role
* An understanding or experience of reputational management
OUR LONDON OFFICE
Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
