Grantham Additional Needs Fellowship (GANF) is an ‘all-needs specialist school’ catering for over 250 pupils aged 4-19 years with a range of different needs and abilities, and all pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school was legally formed on 1st January 2024 following the merger of Ambergate Sports College and The Grantham Sandon School, two schools that were judged to be ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted prior to the merger (Ambergate campus March 2023 and Sandon campus April 2023). Our two sites are currently known as ‘Ambergate Campus’ which is situated towards the west side of Grantham town, and ‘Sandon Campus’ which is to the East.
We see every member of our school community as a ‘unique learner’ capable of ‘limitless learning’, through the acceptance and celebration of diversity, pupils’ rights and the belief that all children and young people can learn, achieve and fully participate in school and wider community life, whatever their circumstances.
At GANF we offer a high-quality curriculum that is personalised to ensure our fantastic pupils make the best possible progress. Our staff are a talented, caring, resilient and ambitious team of people who are committed to providing the best possible education and school experience for every pupil. Staff and pupil well-being is at the heart of everything we do.
