Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 1. Line management of Estimating Team, including any training requirements for new and existing estimators. 2. Seek out new opportunities and clients that meet the departments criteria. 3. Support existing clients to ensure repeat business. 4. Work collaboratively with the marketing department to develop and implement marketing strategies. 5. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers. 6. Undertake sales/estimating site surveys on refurbishment projects and hand details to the estimators for quoting. 7. Ensure accuracy of quotations and adhere to company’s pricing structures and margins. 8. Attend pre-contract meetings and undertake any presentations. 9. Manage project pipeline and provide regular comprehensive sales reports to the Commercial Director. 10. Utilise the CRM platform for recording project related information. 11. Consider and develop any future CRM and estimating software packages to be used by the estimating team. 12. Chase through quoted projects and undertake negotiations to help estimators with conversion to orders. 13. Review contract documents to ensure contract particulars reflect the details on our quotation. 14. Undertake project handover meetings to Operations Team. 15. Any other reasonable task that the company may require. Essential: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Broad technical knowledge. Self-motivated and results driven attitude. Ability to work without supervision. Strong organisational and planning skills. Willingness to travel. Preferable: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction and/or aluminium glazing industry
