* Manage the recruitment, induction, training, and onboarding of new volunteers.
* Support the Volunteering & Public Engagement Officer to remotely manage the charity's network of Support Groups.
* Contribute to new ways of working by shaping initiatives, tools, and training resources to empower the charity's volunteers to be confident and compliant in supporting the charity in the delivery of its mission.
* Support the development and delivery of prioritised workplans in line with strategic direction and operational objectives.
* Support wider organisational objectives including campaigning, media, service improvement, and developing content for communications for volunteers.
Essential skills:
* Experience of recruitment, induction, training, and management of volunteers.
* Experience with co-production and co-design principles in relation to volunteering and engaging people with lived experience.
* Self-starter, driven and forward-thinking, innovative and solution-focused, with a ‘can do’ approach.
* Excellent ability to communicate and present verbally and in writing to a wide variety of audiences.
* Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and facilitative skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and persuade individuals, preferably in a volunteering capacity.
* Experience of planning and managing projects and events according to agreed objectives and time constraints.
