Senior Demand Planner — Innovative High-Growth B-Corp Leader
Hybrid working: 2 to 3 days per week based in Upminster, East London
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum + share scheme, pension, healthcare, life insurance, and holiday

Primary Responsibilities:
As Senior Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in forecasting product demand, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and fostering strong partnerships with contract packers and manufacturers. You will analyse market trends, historical data, and sales forecasts to ensure a seamless balance between supply and demand, minimizing stock discrepancies while meeting customer needs. Key responsibilities include managing the demand plan, placing purchase orders, and creating accurate forecast variance reports. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will validate customer forecasts, support new product launches, and keep internal stakeholders informed of any supply chain developments.
In addition to demand planning, you will oversee purchasing and logistics functions, ensuring smooth operations with third-party logistics providers and securing the best cost prices through strategic supplier relationships. You will manage stock reconciliations and address unexpected fluctuations or disruptions in the supply chain, providing timely solutions.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience in demand planning or supply chain management, gained within the food, beverage, or wellness industry.
Proven experience managing relationships with contract packers and manufacturers.
Experience working with direct-to-consumer (D2C) businesses.
Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, forecasting techniques, and supply chain operations.
Proficiency in Excel and forecasting software/tools such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
Excellent analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal and external teams.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
