Job Description
Responsibilities :
Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting our senior community to continue to live well in their own homes, with the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.
Here’s what you could be doing:
Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
Encouraging : Light exercise, such a short walks, keeping the client active and mentally stimulated.
Help with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation and light housework
Accompanying and transporting clients to appointments, therefore a driving licence and use of suitable transport is essential for this role.
Personal care - supporting/preparing some of our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
Supporting some clients with reminders to take medication.
Qualifications
Experience is not required, We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, sociable, and trustworthy.
If you have experience of caring for family or friends that is an added bonus.
All training is provided.
