Be part of the Bolton Bunch Due to the demand on our affordable, advanced surgical services we are looking to grow our surgical team with the addition of a Senior Surgeon. We offer complex soft tissue and orthopaedic services including TECA, BOAS, TPLO, CCWO, fractures and spinal surgery supported by excellent imaging and theatre facilities including digital radiography, ultrasound and CT. We provide our services to a large number of patients every year, accepting internal and external referrals for our complex surgical service. Our current surgical team is made up of a surgical certificate holder, two other surgeons part way through their surgery certificate and a team of designated surgical RVNs. You will work with your colleagues to support the running of our surgical service providing excellent standards of clinical care with a focus on evidence based continuous improvement. The role will offer a 50% bias towards surgical shifts as part of a four-day working week. We have a network of highly skilled and experience surgeons across the organisation to support your ongoing training and development. What We’re After: We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon what can contribute to the running of our complex surgical service. A keen interest in soft tissue and/ or orthopaedic surgery is essential. A post-graduate certificate in small animal surgery, although ideal this is not essential, Confident performing complex surgical procedures. You feel as strongly as we do about our social mission.
