Facilities Duty Manager Role!
A Higher Education business in Manchester is looking to expand their Facilities team and are seeking an Assistant Duty Manager to join ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis.
Pay rate: £17 - £20p/hour
Duties:
1. Manage the day-to-day operational provision of soft facilities and comprehensive cleaning services to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with the Service Level Agreement.
2. Ensure team members carry out all work at the appropriate times, planning a rota and work schedules while allocating tasks to cover all required duties.
3. Plan and oversee non-standard cleaning activities and periodic maintenance, including thorough and specialist cleaning during holiday periods, to ensure all areas are clean and fresh for the new term, as well as basic repairs and health and safety inspections to ensure all areas are safe and functional.
4. Quality check the work carried out by team members through routine inspections and auditing, completing compliance check sheets, and providing regular reports to the Facilities Manager to demonstrate KPIs are being achieved in line with the Service Level Agreements.
5. Proactively monitor and manage FM teams within the HR policies and procedures, ensuring meetings, interviews, and investigations are completed and actioned within the time-frames.
6. Ensure team members undertake regular checks of the buildings, particularly toilet areas, and that basic cleaning and stock replenishment is undertaken as required in the absence of Domestic staff.
