Express Recruitment are hiring an Electrical Bias Maintenance Technician on behalf of a industrial materials supplier on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be tasked with servicing plant equipment, responding to breakdowns, repairing extrusion and injection mould machinery, and carry out electrical and mechanical work as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, have an HNC/HND-level qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar, and be confident working independently as well as within a team.
In return, they are offering up to c£38,840 per annum D.O.E and a generous benefits package including 33 days holiday including bank holidays, sick pay scheme, paid overtime at enhanced rates as well as genuine career progression opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Service equipment to agreed schedules
2. Be first response to breakdowns on site
3. Perform fault finding and repairs on machinery including extrusion lines, moulding machines, ancillary equipment, automated cells, and butt fusion equipment
4. Carry out improvement modifications on equipment
5. Complete general electrical and mechanical works as and when required
6. Log data using CMMS systems
Skills and Experience
1. Demonstrable maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
2. HND/HNC-Level qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
3. Experience performing fault finding and repairs on PLC systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and extrusion/injection moulding machines are all highly desirable
4. Confident working individually and in a team
5. 18th Edition and IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications are highly desirable
