The opportunity has arisen for a Medical administrator to join a very busy, CQC rated outstanding, large practice on the outskirts of Doncaster. The chosen candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who is not afraid of hard work; with good IT skills and a flexible can-do attitude. This job is for hours per week (being in practice every day Mon to Fri).
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced professional who is used to working in a busy/stressful clerical admin role within General Practice. Tasks will include, but not be limited to, the coding and actioning the post, assisting with the organisation of recall, care home ward rounds, Partner support and other GP admin tasks. Assisting the rest of the admin team when required to cover sickness and annual leave.

Job responsibilities
Main duties and responsibilities include but is not limited to;
1. To develop and maintain accurate recall systems to allowthe practice to invite patients for reviews.
2. Diary dates should be without errors to enable recall towork effectively.
3. To deal with queries when necessary from DCCG, NHS England,patients, doctors, hospitals etc
4. To retrieve clinical and non clinical information from theIT system
5. Ensure read codes are use effectively and efficiently,produce reminders for reception when necessary
6. To attend to correspondence and maintain up to daterecords.
7. Read code and workflow incoming hospital reports and otherrelevant post
8. Upload new patient questionnaires, smear results onto thesystem
9. Pathlinks -share and file incoming results
10. File and code incoming information - Immunisations fromschools, blood results, mammography and diabetic retinopathy reports
11. To attend meetings when requested and take minutes to belater distributed if required
12. Type up minutes from clinical and other meetings when requestedto do so
13. Summarising of patient information and tagging of records
14. Handle solicitor information requests
15. Manage SARS requests
16. Complete Forms
17. Participate in an effective and efficient reception serviceprovided to patients and any other visitors to the practice

18. GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths

19. Experience of working in an admin role (preferably in healthcare)
