The successful Legal Secretary will provide a full secretarial service within the Private client department, supporting multiple Fee Earners. Fully office based at the Leamington Spa location. Description Undertaking typing and secretarial work within the Private Client Department for multiple Fee Earners, and also assisting when needed across the Department as part of the Private Client support team. Preparing accurate invoices and cost scheduling for clients on a monthly basis under Fee Earner supervision/instructions. Maintain and protect client confidentiality at all times internally and externally. Making appointments for clients. Providing general administration tasks, as and when required. Attending Private Client Department Support Meetings and Firm Wide Meetings. Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, conflict checks on new clients. Drafting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records. Liaising with clients in a professional and courteous manner. Locating files for next day's appointments and passing to Fee Earners. Supporting other team members and departments as required. Profile A successful Legal Secretary should have: At least one years' experience working within a Private Client Department, dealing with Wills, Powers of Attorney and Estate administration. Previous experience as a legal secretary or a similar role. Experience in diary management and spoken dictations. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and legal software. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Efficiency to deal with awkward situations and difficult clients in a professional manner. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit professional discretion. Must be able to commute to the Leamington Spa office with ease.
