My client is looking for a senior Executive Health & Safety professional to act as the strategic lead in ensuring the operation of a safe and compliant environment.
Responsibilities:
* Establishing a best-in-class safety culture across the business, leading by example, and influencing senior management to lead the agenda through “walking the talk” on health and safety.
* Ensuring robust fire and life safety management principles are deployed across the business.
* Devising and implementing a comprehensive, tailored Health & Safety training programme and building a comprehensive and pragmatic risk assessment programme.
* Overall responsibility for Emergency and Contingency Plans and managing emergency procedures and responses.
We are looking for proven experience in managing Health & Safety. This role will suit a candidate who is results-driven, flexible, and can work well under pressure with a proven ability in delivering results and outcomes. The ability to adapt to changing priorities is crucial. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and be able to build relationships across multiple functions and levels, with the ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders of all levels.
You will either hold or be working towards Chartered membership of IOSH or equivalent and have demonstrable experience of managing ISO45001 or equivalent. You will be analytical and able to interpret data to all audiences and can turn information into Health and Safety actions and improvements.
