As a key technical expert within the Business Support and Infrastructure team, you will actively participate in delivering IT solutions across business operations and projects at Hargreaves ensuring reliable, responsive, and cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities: Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Group IT Manager and wider IT team to support and deliver the IT strategy, ensuring a secure and resilient network infrastructure. Operational Support: Assist in the day-to-day operation of the IT function, enhancing end-user experience, and supporting projects that drive improvements and cost-effectiveness. Network Maintenance: Support the “up-time” of the Wide Area Network and group-wide connectivity. Integration and Support: Assist with company acquisitions and provide support for infrastructure and network-related tasks. Technical Assistance: Provide infrastructure, technical, and business software support to all Business Units within the Hargreaves group. Project Management: Assume responsibility for IT Infrastructure and Technical related projects, ensuring quality and efficiency. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong communication and planning skills, managing change effectively and ensuring stakeholder engagement. Qualifications and Skills: Experience: IT Technical and business support environments, delivering group-wide strategic IT solutions. Education: Relevant IT qualifications, with a focus on Infrastructure, networking, and business support/helpdesk duties. Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in IT Infrastructure, servers, firewalls, routers, support, and networks Knowledge: Broad understanding of common infrastructure technologies, including storage, servers, networks, security, and end-user computing.
