We are seeking an Operations Manager to take a pivotal role in overseeing our passenger transport and training business, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This is a newly created role, designed to enhance the company’s operational efficiency while fostering a strong, motivated, and engaged team.

About Us
Based in Wolverhampton, we operate a fleet of modern coaches, primarily focused on tours, private hire, and corporate travel. We also provide transport training, helping individuals achieve their professional driving qualifications.
The Role
As Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Team Leadership & Business Operations:
o Inspiring and uniting the team – fostering collaboration and efficiency among staff.
o Ensuring cohesion – working with strong, experienced staff members to enhance teamwork.
o Overseeing daily operations – ensuring seamless fleet and driver scheduling.
o Enhancing staff development – bringing fresh ideas to encourage productivity and morale.
2. Corporate Client Relations & Business Growth:
o Meeting and engaging with corporate clients – ensuring excellent customer relations.
o Identifying new opportunities – developing and maintaining key business partnerships.
o Ensuring customer satisfaction – delivering outstanding service in both transport and training sectors.
3. Strategic & Operational Oversight:
o Supporting the MD in stepping back – taking responsibility for high-level operations.
o Streamlining systems – implementing improved scheduling and communication processes.
o Overseeing the training division – ensuring continued success in licence acquisition programs.
Who We’re Looking For
* Industry Knowledge: Experience in passenger transport is essential; knowledge of transport training is desirable but not a deal-breaker.
* Leadership & Communication Skills: Ability to motivate and inspire an already successful team.
* Client Relations: Confident in handling corporate customers and strategic partnerships.
* Problem-Solving & Initiative: A forward-thinking approach to business development and operations.
* IT & Organisation: Proficiency in digital scheduling, planning, and operational efficiency tools.
