We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, hardworking person who works to a high professional standard and is used to working on their own initiative to join the Paediatric Diabetes service at Leeds Children's Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for collating and producing data for the whole of the Paediatric Diabetes Service. Regularly update NHS England and the Paediatric Diabetes National Audit database thus providing an effective, efficient, and timely service.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work alongside the Paediatric Diabetes Team and be the point of contact for any collation of data for this service.
You will be responsible for all aspects of data management, ensuring the timescales are met and adhered to accordingly, whilst managing a database for our current patient cohort. This is a stand-alone post.
Regular communication is key and updates on the retrieval of information for any data vital.

Job responsibilities
The main duties of this role is to retrieve data set information to upload to our many databases supporting the Paediatric Diabetes Service. This involves being well organized and giving due attention to all data requests and to all timescales.
You will act as a point of contact for any data requests from either NHS England, Paediatric Diabetes National Audit team or within the Trust.
You will also work closely with our clinical team by way of collating and retrieving information for our databases or audits.
You will have access to sensitive information and will have completed the Trust's induction.
You will be involved in regular communication to your line manager.
