About the Role As an Area Sales Associate, you will be responsible for managing and expanding your customer base through face-to-face interactions within your designated region in North England. Reporting to the Head of National Accounts, your key responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive customer call plan, maintaining accurate and detailed records, and identifying opportunities to drive sales growth. Previous experience working with or selling to merchants in the bathroom industry is essential. This is a dynamic and flexible position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the business. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a focused customer call plan, maintaining organised records. Attend sales meetings and relay customer feedback to support company improvement. Maximise face-to-face selling through efficient planning and timely reporting. Build strong customer relationships, ensuring trust and confidence in products by going above and beyond. Embrace sales systems and strategies to drive results and identify growth opportunities in products, customer sectors, and designs. Collaborate positively with the team, contributing to excellent customer service and company initiatives. Participate in trade shows, team meetings, and ad-hoc projects as required. Train customer staff to sell and process product orders effectively. Ensure displays in branches/showrooms represent brands at the highest standard. Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer details, marketing needs, and contacts. Regularly review and suggest improvements for administrative processes and tools. Support the Sales team with administrative tasks and enhance efficiency within the department. Represent the company professionally, align with its values, and support its growth. Be flexible with schedules to optimise daily sales opportunities. Continuously seek self-improvement and stay updated on industry trends.
