About the Role Are you a detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and customer service skills, ideally with experience in the public sector? The London Borough of Bexley is looking for a dedicated Subject Access Request (SAR) Business Support Officer to join our Complaints, FOIs, and Member Enquiries team. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing and processing Subject Access Requests under the Data Protection Act, ensuring requests are handled promptly, accurately, and in line with legal requirements. You will work closely with internal teams to gather and collate information, redact documents and ensure that SARs are processed within statutory timescales. As the first point of contact for SAR-related queries, you will manage communications via phone and email, offering clear guidance to residents and internal stakeholders. If you have a strong administrative background and are keen to play a key role in supporting our residents' right to access their personal data, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
