The requirement:
Our client is increasingly running multiple bids at one time and need to ensure the content submitted to accompany each bid is best in class. They work with multiple teams across the business (and externally) to support and deliver the inputs. The purpose of this job is to provide bid writing support across all services provided by our client. The role will also encompass the coordination and management of the content library ensuring that bespoke inputs are extracted from bids and included within the content library alongside the established pre-written content. Writing, developing and maintaining bid content across all the services provided by our client, this role will require independent and pro-active working and involve working with individual bid Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to:
· Write, review, re-write and edit bid responses, where necessary reaching out and engaging relevant SMEs.
· Identify all questions within the bid documentation, both explicit and implied, to ensure the question is fully answered.
· Ensure win themes are developed throughout the response.
· Conduct research into bid requirements and contribute to kick off /storyboarding sessions.
· Work to deadlines as agreed with the Head of Bidding.
· Write, maintain and manage the bid library including all pre-written content and any bid related collateral.
· Proactively develop and enhance content by reviewing best practice answers, collating core answers, and working with SMEs to enhance and ensure latest best practice and evidence is included in the library.
You will be:
· Experienced in writing and editing content, a minimum of five years’ experience.
· Highly organised: able to contribute to multiple bids.
· Meticulous and have an eye for detail.
· Able to contribute and participate in bid kick off and story boarding sessions.
· Able to coordinate multiple inputs into the content library.
· Proactive the ability to critically look at the content and structure of the library and propose enhancements.
· A good communicator: able to work with different levels of people across different teams, across the business, from those on the front line of the business through to the Board to ensure they are aware of their role and deliver when required.
· Experienced in managing projects and coordinating individual contributors.

Pay: £55,000.00 per year
