We are inviting expressions of interest for the position of Deputy Head Accountant - BCF. This role involves collaborating with our Adult Social Care Service and Health Partners to oversee the financial management of the Better Care Fund (BCF), a £130 million pooled budget with the ICB.
Working to the Head Accountant for Adult Social Care, the post holder will manage and support the day to day requirements of the BCF advising both health and Local authority partners. This will include overview of the Community Equipment Service and the Hospital Discharge Programme, to include; budget monitoring, financial reporting, year end and relevant financial aspects feeding into monthly reporting to Leadership group and compulsory quarterly reporting to NHSE.
If you are an effective communicator and inspiring team leader with first class interpersonal skills, we want to hear from you. Excellent IT and analytical skills, with a sound understanding of accounting principles are also essential, as is the ability to organise and prioritise often conflicting workloads, to achieve results accurately and on time.
