Health & Safety Consultant - Data Centres
Location: Flexible, Hybrid working
Job Summary: As a Health & Safety Consultant for this global professional services organsiation, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with major data centre clients, ensuring that health and safety services meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with clients to provide comprehensive H&S support during the construction and operation of data centres.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for data centre clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
* Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and attract new clients in the data centre sector.
* Health & Safety Audits: Conduct regular health and safety audits on construction sites and operational facilities to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
* Program Development: Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs tailored to the specific needs of data centre clients.
* Client Support: Provide ongoing support and advice to clients on health and safety matters, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety improvement initiatives.
* Training & Education: Deliver health and safety training to client staff and contractors to promote a culture of safety.
* Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant health and safety regulations and ensure client compliance.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in the construction industry as part of a consultancy organisation
* Certifications: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, ISO45001 Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
* Skills: Strong communication and relationship building skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and proficiency in health and safety management systems.
