Associate Consultant – Microgrid

Are you passionate about renewable energy, electrification, and cutting-edge technology?
We’re looking for an Associate Consultant – Microgrid to support the design and analysis of distributed energy resource projects, including solar, battery storage, and electric vehicle charging solutions. You’ll collaborate with customers and internal teams to help achieve net-zero ambitions through innovative energy solutions.
What You’ll Do:
1. Conduct feasibility studies and develop designs for microgrid and energy systems.
2. Perform energy and cost modelling to determine the optimal mix of assets.
3. Audit electrical infrastructure at customer sites and provide tailored recommendations.
4. Create digital twins and power system studies for technical feasibility.
5. Present findings to clients, develop reports, and propose value-added solutions.
6. Contribute to business development and project pipeline growth.
Qualifications
About You:
1. Degree in renewable energy, electrical engineering, or a related field.
2. Understanding of solar, battery storage, electric vehicle charging, or energy flow studies.
3. Familiarity with electrical modelling software is a plus.
4. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
5. Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and occasionally Eastern Europe.
