Our client is a well-established and reputable estate agency in Stanmore with a strong presence in the property sales market. Due to continued success and expansion, we are now seeking an experienced and proactive Lettings Manager to establish and grow a new lettings department. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and developing a key area of the business.
Job Summary:
As the Lettings Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and leading the lettings division within the agency. You will develop and implement strategies to build the lettings portfolio, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and provide outstanding service to landlords and tenants. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a proven track record in lettings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Department Setup & Strategy: Establish and develop the lettings department, setting objectives, processes, and long-term growth strategies.
* Business Development: Proactively source new landlords, properties, and tenants through networking, marketing, and relationship management.
* Legal & Compliance: Ensure all properties and transactions comply with relevant regulations, including tenancy agreements, deposit protection.
* Marketing & Promotion: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to attract landlords and tenants, utilising digital platforms, traditional advertising, and community engagement.
* Landlord & Tenant Relations: Provide expert advice and support to landlords and tenants, maintaining strong professional relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
* Market Awareness: Keep up to date with market trends, rental values, legislation changes, and competitor activity.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience with a minimum of five years working within Lettings
* Strong knowledge of property legislation and lettings compliance.
* Excellent business development and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Leadership and team management experience.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in property management software and CRM systems.
* Full UK driving licence (if required for the role).
Benefits:
* A fixed salary for 12 months which will depend on experience between £40-£60k
