This position is based in Chesterfield S41, applicants will ideally live in the local area.
The role is permanent, based in a small and friendly team. Hybrid working is available after the initial training/induction period (2 weeks full office contact then 2-3 days working from home). We ask that applicants live in a local area commutable to Chesterfield.
Salary guide
£27,000 salary guide dependent on experience. Full time Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch period. Competitive benefits include free parking onsite and modern office facilities.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business. The vacancy is based in an established, friendly team with a supportive Manager. The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the daily creation, maintenance, and management of master data information. This master data is used across the wider business supporting operational decision making and governance of product information. Daily duties will include data management of large data sets, Excel-based reporting, and analysis of the quality and performance of the data. The role would suit a candidate with excellent data administration management skills, previous master data administration experience, and excellent data analysis skills.
Successful applicants will ideally be able to demonstrate previous experience of completing the following duties:
1. Take a lead on master data management analysis and continuous improvement programs.
2. Extensive data entry and administration.
3. Implementation of data controls to manage the quality of the data.
4. Assist with projects to improve data performance and use in the wider operational business.
5. Use of Excel to an intermediate level, including pivot tables and 'V' lookup functions.
6. Familiarity with Oracle EBS suite/Oracle Agile is desirable but not essential; SAP experience would be useful.
7. Support with product data configurations - item creation on the system and costing elements and standard cost components.
8. Assign manufacturing routings within the business.
9. Apply pricing data to the master product data, publish and maintain pricing listings.
10. Work with the wider business including Customer Service, Operations, and Finance.
11. Complete governance and audit reviews around master data to ensure the quality of the data and generate associated reports.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a fantastic role for someone who can demonstrate the following upon application:
1. Excellent Data Analysis skills.
2. The ability to handle large data sets for master data and manage some repetitive data processing tasks.
3. Data management experience ideally within a manufacturing setting.
4. Intermediate/Advanced level of ability with Excel is required.
5. Familiarity with Oracle SQL would be ideal but not essential.
6. Graduate level suitable also.
