Company Overview: The company is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke interior fit-out components and modular buildings, supplying into the retail, leisure, healthcare, education, and residential sectors. The company is a long-standing provider of design, manufacturing and fit out services, and has recently established its modular building division, where it has very ambitious growth plans for the next few years. Reason for role: As the modular building division grows, the company is looking to add an experienced buyer to take full control of all purchasing functions within this area of the business. With the support of the management team, it is a role that you will be able to make your own whilst developing great relationships with the suppliers and supporting the growth of the company’s procurement division. Job Specification Day to Day: Procurement of all direct and indirect commodities required within the modular building division Working closely with suppliers to develop relationships Liaising closely with the design and production teams to ensure all material requirements are understood to ensure on-time production Essential Requirements: Experience in a procurement role with a house / modular building company Excellent communication skills Experience in a strategic procurement role Ability to work independently Desirable experience: Procurement experience within a modular house building business
