This role would suit an ambitious Architectural Technician looking to build and develop a career within a well-established company that provides all the training to ensure you're set up to succeed from the off.
The Role:
* Primary responsibility will involve translating the design concepts created by architects into detailed technical drawings and specifications that can be used for construction.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
* Ensure designs meet technical and regulatory standards.
* Produce comprehensive construction documentation, including detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications.
* Review and evaluate contractor submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
* Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and construction methods.
* Use BIM software to create and manage digital representations of the physical and functional characteristics of buildings.
* Oversee the technical aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Utilize advanced software and technology tools for drafting, modelling, and project management.
* Hours of work are Monday to Friday (9 AM - 5 PM) - opportunity for Hybrid working.
The Person:
* Architectural Technician, Architectural Technologist, or Architectural Assistant.
* Proficiency in CAD (Revit cross training provided).
