This post offers a unique opportunity to join the Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) Development Team, focusing on providing a range of development opportunities for NMAHP support workers.
The post holder will support the team with an emphasis on HCSWs' knowledge, skills, and learning opportunities to grow and maintain their clinical competence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the implementation of the HCSW Strategy.
2. Support the development and delivery of various programmes, e.g., Get into TNA Bootcamp, Deteriorating Patient Education for HCSWs.
3. Work closely with senior teams to establish and embed structured education and development provisions for HCSWs.
4. Design and develop resources to support recruitment and retention, encouraging, motivating, and supporting our future workforce.
5. Contribute to creating a strong identity for HCSWs and develop a sense of belonging.
6. Produce relevant and accurate data, reports, and resources from a range of sources.
7. Provide analysis and recommendations where necessary.
8. Work clinically alongside patients and service users, maintaining clinical credibility.
9. Provide pastoral care, support, and education to new and existing HCSWs.
10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives across the Trust, collaborating with other teams and services.
11. Inspire and motivate others to high performance by setting clear goals, and providing support and guidance.
