Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Blackpool. Role Overview: As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage students with the richness of literature and language, using creative and stimulating teaching methods. Your role will be pivotal in nurturing critical thinking, analytical skills, and articulate expression, ensuring students gain a deep appreciation for the English language.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons covering literature, language analysis, and writing skills.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express their ideas and engage with diverse texts.
* Differentiate instruction to accommodate varied learning needs and abilities, ensuring all students receive appropriate support and challenge.
* Implement a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote active student participation and engagement.
* Assess and monitor students’ progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and contribute to a positive school environment.
Candidate Requirements:
* Applications are welcome from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Fully Qualified Teachers (FQTs) with relevant UK teaching experience.
* A valid DBS certificate on the update service is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
