Job summary We are looking to recruit Band 4 Phlebotomy Supervisor to expand our team working across at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital, Southend University Hospital and other local community clinics throughout South Essex. Main duties of the job As a Phlebotomy Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of phlebotomy staff in outpatients, wards and the community (including domiciliary). You will be expected to work across all sites, shifts are variable between 6.15am and 7pm Monday to Friday with regular weekends on a rotational basis. This role is ideally suited for someone who is experienced, caring, friendly and would like to be a part of a team that contributes towards patient care. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work and communicate with a large team across multiple sections. A full driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential, as you will be required to travel to a variety of community clinic locations.
