Lead Delivery Manager – NHS Client
Location: Cardiff
Contract: 6 Months (Inside IR35)

Job Purpose:
The Lead Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of digital transformation projects within an NHS client. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and expertise in Agile methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency in healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects, ensuring alignment with NHS strategic goals.
* Manage multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Engage with senior stakeholders, providing clear communication and strategic direction.
* Implement Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies to enhance project delivery.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring projects remain on track.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation within digital service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with NHS digital standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
* Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience in delivery management, programme management, or digital transformation within a complex organisation (NHS/public sector experience desirable).
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire teams.
* Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies, with a track record of successful implementation.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management and issue resolution.
* Experience working with digital service development and IT infrastructure projects.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of NHS digital governance, compliance, and data security requirements (desirable).
Desirable Qualifications:
* Certified Agile Practitioner (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent).
* PRINCE2 or PMP certification.
