Alexander Steele have partnered with Disaronno International UK, owners of the most famous Italian Liqueur Disaronno and the well-known coffee liqueur, Tia Maria, to find a Key Account Manager to join their growing team.
The business is now on a journey of expansion into new categories within spirits and also into previously untapped channels of distribution.
You’ll be responsible for the hands on management and growth of a portfolio of Key Account Multiple Operators in the On Trade across the Spirit’s Category, growing volume and distribution of existing SKU’s through both commercial partnerships and innovative best in class visibility and activation.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of 25-100 On Trade Key Accounts to exceed sales targets.
Distribute and activate the DIUK portfolio in Key Accounts to showcase brands.
Build strong multi-level relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Develop joint business plans and efficient investments to drive growth.
Seek out new business opportunities and channels within the On-Trade customer base.
Promote NPD items while maintaining core range distribution and sales.
Differentiate brands with innovative in-account activations and visibility.
Collaborate with Trade Marketing on relevant activation plans.
Manage a journey plan for efficient customer coverage.
Track and report KPI progress against targets.
Provide insight into customer performance for incremental growth.
Work cross-functionally with Trade Marketing, finance, and logistics teams.
Stay informed on market trends across beers, wines, and spirits.
Who we are looking for:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or related field within the UK On/Off Trade
* Proven success of launching NPD into the UK.
* Experience of spirits would be advantageous.
* Entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organise own work schedule.
* Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
* Strong commercial/financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance, recommending appropriate actions.
* Ability to manage projects and multi-task whilst building strong and positive relationships at all levels (internal and external).
* Able to build strong commercial relationships.
* Able to flourish with minimal guidance, being pro active and able to handle uncertainty.
* Passionate about spirits and wines.
Package:
* Salary: up to £48k base
* Bonus: max 20% of salary
* Pension: 5% contribution, matched by Disaronno International
* Car allowance: £5200 pa
* Life Assurance: 3 x annual base salary
