Alcohol and Drug Partnership Development Officer
Band 5 - £31,892 to £39,735 per annum
Plus £1,349 Distant Island Allowance per annum
37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as a Development Officer for the Outer Hebrides Alcohol and Drug Partnership. The post is hosted within the Public Health Directorate of NHS Western Isles and will be based at the Health Board Offices, Stornoway with occasional travel to other sites.
The successful applicant will work as part of the OHADP Support Team and be responsible at operational level for ensuring implementation of interagency strategies and action plans and provide support to the Co-ordinator, Chair and members of the ADP.
The applicant should have a good understanding of alcohol, drug and substance issues but training will be provided as part of induction.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
