National Express have a great opportunity to join our internationally known company as a Mechanical Support!
We have 3 shift patterns available for this role either 07:00 till 15:00 Tuesday to Saturday, 16:00 till 00:00 Monday to Friday or 23:30 till 07:30 Tuesday to Saturday.
As a fundamental member of the team your role will involve assisting with the repair of vehicles, ensuring regulations and company standards are continuously met.
We have 3 positions in Walsall for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical interest, with previous experience, a PCV Driving Licence [although not essential], the drive to succeed and a passion to get stuck in working days, evenings and nights, which will include weekends as well as Weekday shifts.
What you'll do...
Manage service duties through bus allocations, changeovers and garage plans
Carry out routine services including oil changes quickly and efficiently to manufacturer's and specialist standards
Conduct road wheel change
Repair minor defects as needed
Ensure all documentation is maintained according to Company procedures
Maintain good housekeeping and conform to Safety, Health, Environment and Fire Regulations
