Heathcote School is seeking a motivated and caring Midday Supervisor to join our team as we embark on our exciting Opal Play journey. Lunchtimes at Heathcote are just as important for learning as any other part of the school day, and we’re looking for someone passionate about supporting children in developing life skills, good manners, and positive social interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Modelling Respectful Behaviour: Demonstrating positive manners and respectful communication, helping children understand how to interact kindly with others.
2. Building Strong Relationships: Fostering a supportive and welcoming environment where children feel safe and valued.
3. Promoting Life Skills: Encouraging children to practice good table manners, share, take turns, and solve problems independently.
4. Supporting Opal Play: Engaging with children to explore creative outdoor play that enhances their social, emotional, and physical development.

* Strong communication skills, with the ability to model good manners and respectful behaviour.

English Duty
The role is covered by part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
