About The Role Contract: Fixed Term 2 years Salary: HC03 £24,027- £24,404 pro rata salary £5,844 - £5,936 Hours: 9 Location: Hereford Closing Date: 06/04/2025 Herefordshire Council is responsible for the administration of On and Off-Street parking and are therefore looking to appoint a part-time enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed Cash Counting Officer to join our friendly parking team on a part time basis. The post holder will be required to work Monday 10am-3pm and Friday 10am-2pm in a city centre location You will be required to accurately collate the totals of cash collected via the operation of a cash counting machine, record and reconcile the figures produced at the end of each day. Throughout the day you will need to exercise a safe system of work and ensure all cash is securely and safely stored.
