Job Description Senior Technical Architect vacancy Looking to join a practice that has been operating in the East Midlands for over 50 years and consists of an award-winning team of construction specialists, delivering a multi-disciplinary service including architectural design, building surveying, maintenance and health and safety. You will play an integral role in their Nottingham team (team of 25) and will have the opportunity to broaden your skill-set and understand how your role contributes to their wider success. Very much work as one team, and regularly have social meet up's to get all their offices together as they have a very good synergy across their 3 main offices and so feel it is important to nurture this synergy as it creates a strong collaboration across all their colleagues working in different business areas. They pride themselves on their training and development programmes, ranging from role-specific courses to leadership and management training. The Role: · Develop and present design concepts that meet client specifications. · Prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications using REVIT software. · Collaborate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout all RIBA stages. · Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning permissions, and safety standards. · Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues. · Manage project budgets, fees and timelines effectively. · Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies. · Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects. Key skills and experience: RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Part 3, 5 years’ experience post qualification. Proven experience in architectural design and project management. Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). Strong understanding of building regulations and planning policies in the UK. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Experience with sustainable design practices. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling). Full UK driving licence. Salary on offer will range up to £60,000 PA (DOE), and would be looking for a very strong portfolio, which demonstrates your Revit skill-set and ideally a wide variety of sectors that evidence your wide knowledge and adaptability to working on different schemes.
