We are looking for a Sr. Hardware Engineer to join our Christchurch Team!
As our Sr. Hardware Engineer you will be responsible for programming, executing, and engineering design, construction, installation and/or ongoing engineering support of facilities, systems, and technical policies and procedures for the assigned engineering function within our Avionics and Electronics division.

Implement and maintain procedures, methods, and tools required to achieve a World Class capability in the process of electronic equipment design data for aerospace applications (DO-254, ARP4754 and DO-160).
Plan and execute the engineering programme to ensure that it is delivered within budget, to schedule, and meets customer requirements.
Regular review of product development activities to ensure technical and process compliance, giving guidance to the engineering team and assure that design solution processes are airworthy.
What You Bring
1. Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
2. At least 5 years experience in embedded digital and analogue design within an aerospace / automotive / medical / safety-critical environment.
3. At least 5 years in an engineering management capacity.
4. Demonstrated high performance and achievement in leadership and management of engineering teams through a full product development life cycle (including system design, development, integration, test, verification).
5. Familiar with small Microprocessor and microcontroller systems.
6. Familiar with Schematic design using ORCAD or similar package.
7. Familiar with Op Amp level analogue & DC-DC PSU design.
8. Design for EMC.
