Job summary
The post holder will support the development and provision of a comprehensive information service. They will provide technical expertise in the analysis, interpretation and presentation of complex data/information to senior managers and clinicians across the ICB. They will also provide data/information to external stakeholders to ensure the organisation is able to meet its national commitments and mandatory requirements.
The post holder will support the implementation of new information flows and systems that meet the operational and strategic needs of the ICB and their stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the maintenance and development of a range of performance dashboards/trackers in a variety of formats Excel (with VBA automation), Power BI, Tableau and Information Systems to enable the provision of robust, timely and accurate reporting to support senior management in their decision-making processes.

The post holder will proactively manage the integrity and quality of data within the ICB's warehouse: investigating, raising and resolving issues with the ICB's Data Services provider where necessary.

* Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
* An awareness of NHS Operational Planning and the NHS Oversight Framework
* Experience of Commissioning services using complex information
* Experience of working with information systems development
* Good understanding of, and the ability to assimilate rapidly, the extensive range of the NHS data sets, including Service Level Agreements, and financial data sets
* Expertise in a range of complex software and their advanced functionality, particularly Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint)
* Appreciation of data protection, patient confidentiality and IT security issues
* Previous experience in similar role in the NHS or public sector
* Evidence of continued professional development
