Role Description:
Auditing of quality system annually to ensure that manual and procedures are current and being followed. Ensuring that training and inspection equipment are sufficient for the tasks to be performed. Initiating action to prevent NC occurrence of product, process or quality system nonconformities. Ensuring that the quality system is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with AS9100 Rev. D. Interfacing with customer quality representatives, Ensure a high level of internal and external customer/ Regularity communications Investigate, determine root cause, initiate permanent corrective action and document customer issues and escapes as they arise (e.g., RCCA, problem solving, PFMEA, 5 why, etc.). Assess and implement the appropriate data analysis, quality methods, inspection criteria and procedures to ensure the technical integrity of our quality processes and results. Supports and drives supplier development, Approval and Performance, Lead Internal & External aerospace quality compliance audits.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience as a quality manager from within the engineering, aerospace, automotive sectors is desirable.
* Expertise in problem solving through Lean Six Sigma and other quality techniques required to identify route causes and engage sustainable solutions to issues presented.
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills
* Prior experience managing a team of quality professionals
* Proficient in Microsoft outlook, excel, word and PowerPoint packages
* Planning and organisational skills
* Experience leading aerospace/engineering compliance audits
* Advanced knowledge of applicable quality standards such as AS 9100 & ISO 9001
* Demonstratable experience of effective workforce and people planning
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in engineering, quality management or a related field (desirable not essential)

Working Hours:
07:30 -16:15: Monday-Thursday07:30-16:00: Fridays(Every other Friday is a non-working day)
