Your responsibilities: Develop and communicate a strategic vision for engineering automation that aligns with organizational goals and objectives to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. Define long-term roadmaps and tactical delivery plans to contribute to achieving company financial targets as part of the engineering transformation Directly manage a team of technical experts (1-5 direct reports) to support our global sites with identifying cost-effective opportunities for improvement and reducing operational risks Lead the definition, deployment and assurance of engineering automation and OT cybersecurity standards and ways of working across the businesses, sites, and capital projects. Ensure our practices are aligned with best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. Contribute to the delivery of capital projects globally to maximize the opportunities for Capex avoidance and 'safety by design'. Requirements for the role: Engineering degree in electrical, chemical, mechanical, or approved equivalent discipline. Significant experience working in a chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, steel, or other process related manufacturing environment. Chartered Engineer, PE or another equivalent credential as determined by JM. Demonstrated experience in implementing and embedding global standardised approach to managing engineering automation systems Advanced knowledge of SCADA/control and automation systems Knowledge and experience applying IEC standards Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on driving business results and achieving organizational objective How you will be rewarded: We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 25 days annual leave (varies for shift-based roles).
