Purpose and Objectives:
To support our team of Ecological Consultants by completing detailed drawings based on the findings of habitat surveys.
Duties and Responsibilities:
E3P is searching for a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our exciting and successful Ecology Division as a Junior GIS Technician. We offer a rewarding and supportive work environment where our people can reach their full potential.
Duties and Responsibilities of the role will include:
1. To work closely with the Ecology Team to complete drawings to a good standard using QGIS.
2. To ensure QGIS drawings are completed in line with the project requirements.
3. Develop a good understanding of the services delivered by E3P.
4. Communicate effectively with the Ecology team to ensure project deadlines are met.
Skills:
* Previous GIS experience is desirable.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
* Experience in using MS Office software and Outlook is desirable.
* Professional approach, both in manner and appearance.
* Working towards or achieved HNC Civil Engineering or Construction.
