Role: Cover Supervisor Contract: Ad-hoc, flexible Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, term time only (school times may vary) Salary: Starting at £120 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) Long-Term Teachers are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and well-resourced special needs school. The school caters to students with Autism and communication and interaction difficulties, providing a supportive learning environment across all age groups. As we approach exam season, their current staff will be re-deployed to support exam accommodations and other requirements across the school. Therefore, the school is seeking an adaptable, experienced individual that is willing to get stuck into any task that is required! About The Role: This is a varied and rewarding position ideal for someone confident in leading classes and supporting students with special educational needs. You will be expected to: Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects Provide effective classroom management and engagement Offer in-class support to teachers when not covering lessons Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of students This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs. You will play a vital part in ensuring consistency and structure for students throughout the school day.
