As part of our continued dedication to this cause, we are looking to appoint a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team.
Role Overview: The Safeguarding and Wellbeing Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and emotional support of all students at Kidderminster College. You will work closely with students, staff, parents/carers and external agencies to provide a robust safeguarding service, promote mental health and wellbeing initiatives, and ensure that our policies and procedures are adhered to.
Essential Criteria:
* A good understanding of current safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practice in relation to further education.
* Ability to work confidentially and sensitively with vulnerable individuals.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and external agencies.
* A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within an educational setting.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Safeguarding or equivalent) or willingness to work towards them.
