Deputy Manager – Ernelesthorp Care Home, Doncaster
Ernelesthorp Care Home, a family-owned care facility in Armthorpe, Doncaster, is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Deputy Manager to support our team. With 37 beds, we are committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care and are seeking a professional who will work closely with our Registered Manager to uphold and enhance our standards.
Role Overview:
As Deputy Manager, you will take on a key leadership role, helping manage the daily operations of the home and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This full-time position includes shared on-call responsibilities and requires working alongside senior care staff to maintain excellent standards in both care and team performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Care Assistant in a care home setting is essential.
* Proven experience in administering medication safely and accurately.
* NVQ Level 2-3 in Health & Social Care, with a willingness to pursue a management qualification if not already obtained.
* Experience in Person Centred Software (PCS), a specialist care industry system, is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided if required.
* Demonstrated experience in staff supervision, mentoring, and delegation.
* Strong communication, team-working, and time management skills.
* Confident with basic IT tasks.
* Previous experience in quality assurance (preferred).
* Commitment to providing person-centered, high-quality care.
