Office Manager with reception supervisor experience within Primary Care
Hours 24 per week
Pay: up to £33,280 pro rata
Job Responsibilities: (not exhaustive)
• The day to day supervision of all reception staff
• To ensure adequate staffing levels and organise reception rotas
• To ensure reception staff are fully conversant with practice policies and protocols
• The induction and training of all new reception staff to agreed standards
• To ensure training for existing staff
• To deal with more complex enquiries from patients
• To ensure that all new patients are registered onto the computer system promptly and accurately
• To prioritise workload to ensure all daily tasks for the reception team are undertaken
• To conduct monthly reception meetings
• To enter GP surgeries onto the computer system
• To make appointments for patients to see doctors, nurses and other clinical staff associated with the practice
• To ensure practice reception protocols are updated on a regular basis
• To ensure training for existing for staff
• View to progression within the business
