We’re looking for a Systems Support Analayst to join us in Bradford. This is a hybrid role with 2 days working from the office.
This is a key role within our Financial Systems team where you wil be supporting colleagues and teams across the business through the accurate handling of financial data within our Enterprise systems.
You will work with Technology teams to ensure we take advantage of developments and enhancments to our tools to improve customer exeprience.
Thsi role would suit someone with a background in financial data seeking to move into an area where a passion to learn, simplify and standardise is a priority.
What will you be doing?
1. Supporting Management Accounts, Financial Accounts and Commercial Finance user communities with issues and queries, across company footprint.
2. Reviewing of Reporting needs of user groups, ensuring that any amendments to systems give the desired effect without impacting other areas.
3. Loading financial and non-financial data into Essbase, Hyperion and Oracle EPM.
4. Reconciliation of data between systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase & reporting cubes), investigation of any differences including discussion with Commercial Finance and wider LG SSC Systems team.
5. Maintain the mapping tables and scripts between company footprint & Liberty Global Chart of Accounts
6. Resolving complex Queries from Group FP&A and LGI finance teams
7. Support users with complex queries (including any Oracle GL back posting or journal loading exercises)
We tend to look for people with:
8. Qualified Accountant (ideally) with experience of Management Accounts, with an interest in Finance systems
9. Experience of Oracle ERP modules
10. Experience of Business Objects Reporting Tools
11. Good customer relationship and customer service skills
12. Expert knowledge of using MS Excel (including macros, visual basic and power query)
13. Experience of using Hyperion Planning and Essbase
14. Experienced HFM and FDM User
15. Ability to liaise with all levels of management
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
16. Technical – Qualified Accountant (preferred)
17. Technical – Good knowledge of PBCS & Essbase
18. Technical – Good working knowledge of Business Objects (BOXI)
19. Technical – Good working knowledge of Oracle, Fusion and HFM
20. Self-Drive – self-motivated, well organised and self-reliant
21. Accountable – taking ownership of issues and seeing them through to resolution
22. Communication – outstanding verbal, written and numerical communication and influencing skills with the ability to lead and facilitate meaningful and longstanding relationships.
23. Influencing and Negotiating – highly skilled at managing relationships and conflicting priorities at a senior level.
