Business Analyst – Hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days in the office (Salford Quays)
Marlowe Fire & Security is the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply, and installation to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we help prevent, detect, and monitor fire and security risks nationwide. We are seeking a Business Analyst based at our Head Office in Salford Quays. This role is within the Service Admin department, working closely with the Finance Department to provide reconciliation and data support for management accounts and payroll.
Basic Salary – £30-35,000 per annum

Role Overview
The Business Analyst will provide qualitative data and insightful commentary on operational performance, analyzing a wide array of data to support business decisions. The role requires confidentiality and discretion, as much of the data is sensitive. Responsibilities include producing regular reports, supporting investigations, and some project work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare, review, and distribute routine reports with commentary for leadership, including engineer revenue, productivity, travel, stock, and compliance.
2. Reconcile engineer revenue with monthly accounts in Sage 200.
3. Conduct weekly timesheet audits, including high overtime review.
4. Coordinate between service management and payroll for accurate sign-offs on commissions, overtime, and expenses.
5. Verify incentive scheme details monthly.
6. Generate anomaly reports highlighting wastage and sub-optimal outcomes.
7. Analyze profitability of sub-contractor labor, linking costs to revenues.
8. Utilize KPI data to assess company performance against SLAs.
