Chauffeur – Marylebone Up to £60,000.00 (negotiable DOE)|Marylebone, London|Permanent, Live-out We are recruiting a highly experienced, well-presented and proactive professional chauffeur for a repeat client in Marylebone. The selected applicant will be tasked with driving the British Principal in a Mercedes-Maybach. The ideal Chauffeur will be immaculately presented at all times and have an energetic approach, be highly-organised with journey planning and offer flexibility. An overall awareness of security is also essential. The post is open to highly experienced private chauffeurs as well as ex-military personnel with driving and security experience. Your primary focus will be during the working week when you will drive the Principal to and from their home in Marylebone and the office in Kings Cross. Evening hours will be required if the Principal has events/meetings or dinner reservations to attend in London. A break will always be in place should the client have plans in the evening. Should you be required on occasion at weekends to drive the Principal to his countryside home or take him to the airport, days off will be given in lieu, and arrangements will be made in advance. The selected applicant will be responsible for maintaining the exterior and interior of the vehicle, stocking bottles of water and refreshments, tissues, phone chargers, organising MOTs, repairs, and any necessary garage time. Suitable candidates must have an exceptional knowledge of driving in Central London and be meticulous journey planners. The vehicle will remain at the client’s London residence outside working hours. Responsibilities Driving the Principal to and from the office, to social events, and restaurants Occasional driving to the countryside residence (approx 2-days per month) Driving the client’s grown-up children when time allows Immaculate upkeep of the vehicle at all times Journey planning Errand running Developing a relationship with the front of house at favoured restaurants to ensure a table is available for business and personal dinners Working with the Principal’s Executive Assistant and House Manager to ensure the daily smooth running of the client’s itinerary Key requirements To apply, applicants must offer flexibility, accepting that certain days or weeks will be busier than others.
