The Role
Strategists combine data-driven insights with creative thinking to optimise client marketing investments. They catalyse commerce and creativity, fluently translating between these worlds.
As a Strategy Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the agency's strategic and creative culture while bringing transformative insights to existing and prospective clients.
Responsibilities include interrogating client briefs for creative pitching whilst ensuring the agency maintains a high standard of strategic thinking, with a strong grasp of client businesses and the use of research to fuel creative solutions. You will play a crucial role in shaping partnership strategies and ensuring alignment between brands and audience interests and platforms.
Close collaboration with agency leadership will be essential to enhance resources and establish a strong presence in the marketing industry through thought leadership.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive strategic leadership to clients across all levels.
* Foster and maintain key client relationships with leadership and creative teams.
* Lead the strategic assessment of new briefs and the insights process.
* Create and communicate creative briefs, collaborating with client leads.
* Manage Sponsorship Consulting projects, including Strategy, Portfolio reviews, and Measurement for clients.
* Offer ongoing partnership consulting to optimise activation and ROI.
* Oversee research and insight resources, ensuring team awareness and regular usage.
* Evolve measurement practices, lead award submissions, and support new business pitches.
* Establish a strong thought leadership presence both within the agency and across the industry, contributing to a planned thought-leadership program.

* A Strategy Director with a proven track record of identifying insights, devising creative strategies, and delivering impactful campaigns.
* You’re ambitious and eager to learn new skills; you want to contribute to the business and take the opportunity to help shape the future of the agency alongside your team.
* Someone with a deep knowledge and passion for sports, the positive role they play in society and the transformative impact they can have in people’s lives.
* A versatile strategist able to work across partnerships, paid media, content, social and earned media.
* An ability to pull clear insights from various sources of qualitative and quantitative data.
* You can translate strategic thinking into engaging narratives and storytelling to excite clients about strategic and creative ideas.
* Inquisitive about the world around you and the patterns behind consumer behaviours.
* Proactive, driven and a catalyst for creative ideas internally and with clients.
* Commercially minded with the ability to form valuable sponsorship and partnership strategies.
* Experience working within sports marketing and specifically sponsorship is preferred but not vital.
