Following completion of your apprenticeship, we would like to see you progress to become a Regional Team Lead with us, attracting a salary starting from £26,500.

Responsibilities include:
* Provide safe and person-centred support to the people we support as detailed in their individual Care Plan.
* Follow agreed Care Plans to support individuals in the following areas (if applicable):
o Personal care
o Medication support
o Activities of daily living
o Moving & Handling
o Managing Finances
o Nursing Care
o Cognitive rehabilitation therapy
o Positive Behaviour Support
* Have an open-minded approach to the people we support and be flexible, adaptive, and considerate of their needs at all times.
* Work in an anti-discriminatory manner, mindful of the lifestyle, values, customs, and spiritual beliefs of the individual.
* Encourage and enable individuals to achieve personal goals such as:
o Increased social, emotional, and psychological well-being
o Increased physical well-being
o Increased ability to maintain their own home
o Increased independence
* Demonstrate respect for the decisions, likes, and dislikes of the people we support.
* Deliver personal care with dignity and respect to meet the specific requirements of the individual.
* Ensure confidentiality at all times, in keeping with the Data Protection Act.
* Commit to following safeguarding guidelines to protect the adults or children in your care.
* Ensure the health, well-being, and safety of the people you support by following agreed Care Plans and raising any concerns, including accidents and incidents promptly.
* Collaborate with the Regional Team Leads and Case Managers to regularly review and make recommendations for changes to Care Plans.
Training includes:
* Level 3 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship Standard
* In-house training
* Level 2 Functional Skills maths/English if required
* Training will be delivered via remote delivery weekly.
This will include a combination of care provision and off-the-job training. Care provision will include working 12-hour shifts including days, waking nights, and sleeping nights. Shifts to be confirmed.
